Welcome Package: Finding you four-cylinder soul mate
People might think finding a compact car with European driving dynamics for under $13,000 is a gift in itself. But Ford has additional goodies for those lucky enough to purchase a new Focus – a Welcome Package that shows just how in tune your car can be with you.
"It’s about experiencing the car, not just going for a drive," says Julie Roehm, Ford Focus brand manager. "That’s why we’ve thrown in extras that fit in with your lifestyle."
First, when you buy the Focus you’ll receive a trendy G Shock or Baby-G watch to keep you in synch with your fast-paced life. After all, you wouldn’t want to miss a beat. And you’ll never have to miss that special someone either. About six months later, a one-of-a-kind picture frame that attaches to the dashboard and matches the car’s interior will arrive at your home. Just stick in your favorite photo and you’ll never have to cruise alone again.
And if you think that’s a cool move, there is even more. Your cup will never runneth over again – and turn your seats into a sticky mess. The Focus’ expandable cup holder can fit everything from your large morning coffee mug to those big-gulp drink cups. Cheers to that. Hate fumbling for your shades while keeping your eyes on the road? Never again. The Focus’ nifty sunglass case will keep your specs from sliding between the seats or getting scratched. "All of these fun personalization items continue to give our customers great value even beyond the affordable price of the car itself," says Roehm.
Just say: I do.
