I have a Ford 2005 Focus 1.6A hatchback.
I can't seem to get a fix on my local VIN on US or UK websites to get parts.
Anybody has experience with this for Singapore versions.

It seems that there is right handed driving in Singapore

Possibly your vehicle was manufactured in Australia

In the USA, the Ford part numbers seem to have both numbers and letters

Elsewhere the part numbers seem to have only numbers possibly because of countries that do not used the Latin alphabet

So it would seem that a identical part whether sourced in the USA or the UK would have different part number

Check the country of origin for your VIN. I know the VIN codes are different for the US and Europe, but I am unsure of other countries. I know that the US and Europe VIN's, the first letter/number is always the indicator as to where the car is produced.

I think it's German manufactured
WF05XX.........
Right hand drive (As in England)
I get the impression USA does not have the 1.6L. Europe has it.
Tried UK website for parts, they don't recognise the VIN number too.
Just got hit USD$160 for ATF fluids yesterday w/o labour locally! That's why I need to source my own Focus parts. :(

You are correct, smallest engine here is 2.0L
