Vct solenoid/cam phaser question
I have a code for came position bank 1 over advanced and cam position bank 1 over retarded(codes p1381-p1383) I'm assuming its a solenoid because that codes refer to the solenoid and from experience (Chrysler dealership) it's usually the solenoid that goes bad. And also when I had the head off it ran through the parts washer with the solenoid still on the head. If it's not the solenoid and it's a cam phaser issue where is a good place to get a phaser? Even my discounted price to a ford dealership is a pretty penny, thanks for any help!
