Thanks for the pictures, one last question- will I be able to retain my light that is already in my hatch as well as share it for the LEDs?

Basically, will my hatch light still work? Lol :)

yes, it would still work if you tap into the wires for the light.
the function will still be the same and the leds would illuminate when you hit the hatch release button.

if you use the plug, you don't keep the light in there, and then it won't work.

I had a friend that got the green hatch kit, haven't got a pic yet but I'll try and get one tomorrow.

If I am not mistaken there isn't a hatch area light, just the overhead dome light. I can custom make a kit using my other friends wagon for you but it will take a about a week or so to get it made up. What I am thinking is wire it into the overhead dome light using a "T" splice and run the wires down to the hatch area.

I assume the splicing would apply to the ST as well since this is pretty much the same as the 2012 wiring wise?

It does come with a stock sub in the back
