Then check this out, I make conversion kits that turn your stock bulb into a string of LEDs that throw light evenly across your entire trunk or hatch area. I use high intensity, wide beam LED bricks that are premeasured and prewired to fit into your focus' trunk or hatch. The entire kit is plug and play and the LEDs come with double sided tape for easy installation.

I normally keep red, blue, and white LEDs in stock and can normally get a kit made and shipped within 2 days after payment. I can also do kits in amber or green within a weeks time. If there is a specific color you are looking for I can setup custom colors with an additional cost depending on the color.

I have a 02 SVT and would love to do this to my hatch. Few questions though: what is the difference between the 3 and 4 LED sets? Do you have any side by sides of the 2? Where are they mounted? Finally, what is the power source for this?

I have yet to sell the 3 setup, but there are a couple setups we can do, one on the left side behind the sub and then two on the right side. OR all three on the right side.

They mount under the plastic moldings that are on either side, they mount using double sided tape on the back of the LED bricks.

The power source is the outlet for the stock bulb. There are a couple things you can do, I have the adapter that plugs right into the bulb socket so all you have to do is remove the bulb and insert the wire plug, or you can splice into the bulb wire and place an LED wedge into the socket for more light. Both ways are pretty simple and don't require adding or modifying much.

What's involved with the 2102 versions? Simple splicing?

I am very interested with tax time coming and this mod will come right after I do the headlamp and tail bulbs.
