Of course the civic guys say that, they have double a-arm fronts and huge spring rates. Already at zero camber up front, it will get worse with out the sway bar. If you want to test it though, all you have to do is disconnect the front sway bar endlinks, let the sway bar just come along for the ride:D

Hmm ... but what are your thoughts ... good or bad.
Do you think I would be able to rotate the rear more with out a front sway? Do you think I would oversteer the car too much? Man ... like Sleepyboy told me once, I need to find an open-empty parking lot and try it out. -Ray-

My guess, you’ll lose grip. There won’t be enough roll resistance, even with the HR spring rates. FWD cars I’ve heard running without a front sway have been running 600+ lb-in spring rates. But I’m not an expert by any means, that’s why I recommend testing it.

Hmm ... I guess I am going to need to find a nice empty parking lot and go for some practice cone runs.

Well other than getting more front camber. As far as your damping rates have you thought about 3 and 7 or 2 and 6? From what you were saying I'd say the 3 and 7 would probably be about the best compromise. I'm running the same spring setup and trying to dial mine in as well. But I have a 25mm rear bar, with poly bushings on the stock front.
I've been out of the game for a few years till last year though. And I still have a couple of repairs in the rear suspension to do. (parts are here though). I would do as you have been thinking and use a big empty parking lot and do some testing. I'll admit I used to use one of the local high school parking lots for testing when school was out for the summer :D

Thanks.
Yeah, I will be ordering the front camber kit by my next gig check. focus'N'SHO - > I also have the VF Poly mounts up front ... all of them. And the Eibach bar I have is also 25mm. I have dialed in those numbers ... I just need to get used to the settings when I turn. Working on a location that I can safely test out the changes. Getting cones from some buddies. -Ray-

I look forward to hearing what you find. I can't do any real testing of mine at the moment till engine is finished back up, and I do some work on the rear suspension. My rear end is very unpredictable due to enlarged holes where the toe arms mount to the subframe.

Ah ... gotcha.
And most definitely will report my findings. Are you re-building your engine? I have an extra SVT engine in my garage that one day I hope to rebuild as a back up. -Ray-

I hit a pothole and it managed to throw a rock up into my timing belt. With the old grind Crower 2's in there that didn't fare too well for my valves. Luckily I had a spare head in the garage with some mild porting done to it waiting to go on. After some custom fitting to the buckets it is now on and getting ready to time it. Plus hoping to do a couple more mods to it while I'm at it. Also like you I have a built HC short block sitting in the garage waiting on me to go through it and make sure everything is good before it gets thrown in.
While I do the rear suspension though it is also getting a rear disc swap :)
