Autox Event in VA 6-17-2012

The event is through Capital Driving Club in Winchester, VA.

I'll be racing my new 2012 Focus for the first time and talked my uncle into bringing out his new focus too...I'm a little worried about these stock tires!!! Would like to see some other people come out!

Been so long since I been on an auto-x course wonder if I remember what I'm doing out there?!?! Always wanted to go to a CDC event, maybe this one. Putting this on my calendar....

I have a few first timers going to this event with me.....this is my frst event with the focus...used to race a built a trans am. If you come I'll show you the the ropes when walking the track and we'll have a pretty good time out there. It's a pretty orgaized and explained event so there's no confusion.

My one buddy is brnging is 06 gto that I put coilovers on...another is bringing his 92 celica gt or older miata....my other friend is bringing a speed3. This will be first for them. My other friend who used to run a m coupe will be bringing a procharged 77 firebird...should be interesting! We might be having a gril out at my place afterwards as I'm only 10 mins away from the high school.

from what i see these cars are purpose built. my zx3 is completely stock lol.

My 2012 focus se is completely stock too! The great thing about autox is its more about the driver than the car. Just try it once....I guarentee u'll love it.

Oh I forgot, my uncle is coming in his new '12 focus as well, my aunt might bring her v6 firebird. Last year my mom rode with my aunt...it was hilarious

I broke the driver's side axle/hub arrangement at the last Summit Pt event. Car is still up in the air. Taking advantage of the rain and getting some OT. Just be ready 6/17 (or whatever the date is) to be trounced, Sir!!
