Changed tires between the 2 events, the fatter ones were 225/50/16 RS3s and I switched for 215/40/17 Star Specs. Too bad Hankook doesn't make those tires in better 16" dimensions like 215/45/16... Still haven't found 15X7.5 wheels to fit some either.

Last weekend turned out to be fun. We had our annual Enduro event, which means you take all of your runs back to back in lap form. I ended up taking first in PRO1 (PAX) class rather easily, since I had the driest runs in the class. The first lap is a warm up, then there's four officially timed runs after that. I ended up sitting on the final lap in this one.

Due to our competitiveness, all of us in the PRO1 class wanted a shot to see who stood where with the weather being equal, so at the very end of the day, we all took one warm up lap and two timed laps in the sun on completely dry pavement. I ended up dropping nearly three seconds off my time. We indexed the times, and I remained in the top spot, just barely. If anyone hosts an Enduro in your region, I'd highly recommend it.

on the topic of Enduro's, the UBC sports car club (in Vancouver BC) is hosting our annual team enduro on August 5th, and is close enough for any of you Washington state folk. The course is almost as big as packwood and will be designed by me. http://forum.ubcscc.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=4878
