New SATNAV DVD Stereo system
Hi im new to this site
I have just bought a 2008 Focus Style and want to replace the stereo with a dvd player. What i need to know is Will this one i have found on ebay work and will i be able to instal it myself? And if so what tools would i need ? Hope some one out there can help i would like to be able to use bluetooth hands free and satnav all from the same screen http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/4003846636...84.m1423.l2648 |

The silver fascia that houses your head unit should almost literally pull off (with a bit of effort) Reach under the lip that is underneath the climate control knobs and pull the facing up and off, being careful not to damage the clips. From there you undo the 4 Phillips screws and the head unit slides right out. I installed a Kenwood KVT - 522DVD without much hassle, only things I needed were the iso and steering wheel adapters. I'm not sure if you'll need those for your unit.
I'll add pictures tomorrow on the removal of the fascia. |
