Jim, its simple physics. If the crank pulley is smaller, everything else will spin slower. Unless the "UDP" pullies everyone sells are just lighter weight harmonic dampners (aka weighted to prevent crank snapage).

no your right it does slow it down because its smaller i was saying they dont slow it down enough to cause and damage to the waterpump or alternator. alternator will still put out 14.7V and the water pump is still efficient

well, everything, im buying new tires this weekend!!!!

earlier today leaving school on a road i take 2 times everyday, i fell victim to that snap over/understeer bull shit......

it is a turn that has railroad tracks going across it, for the trolly, well, i was in the turn, yes speeding, but ive taken this turn faster, i wasn't going super fast or anything, and was slowly accellerating, and when i get to the track, its nice and smooth and level with the ground, i feel the back end start to slide.... i tap the brakes, probably too hard, and hold on for the ride, i end up sideways through the rest of the turn, over correct and spin the otherway, i watch a suv going the other direction pass within a foot of my front bumper...... it scared the out of me......

thats the good part..... i was ok with that, except for the 1/100 days when there is a cop around, there is one around this time.... at first i thought he was coming to see if i was ok, then after like 10 min, he brings me a citation for careless driving..... a $151 citation, i had tried to explain to him that i wasn't doing anything super crazy, i mean there were 2 guys behind me that i was slightly outpacing... and that i don't know what happened and i thought it was my tires, mind you i was shaking like a little girl.....

but that shit, im getting new tires asap....
