ST Base Model Seats?

The seats are exactly the same minus the leather for the SE sport seat/ST1 seat and the SEL/Ti in cloth or leather. Only the Recaro seats are different so they should swap right in, or you could just swap the seat covers.

I finally saw an ST1 a couple weeks back and the base seats look pretty good in-person. I would have no problem buying an ST1.

I would prefer the dual-zone climate control, but can live w/o that (as I am now!).

I just ordered my ST1, also couldn't live with the recaros, the dealer is going to get my seats done in leather and I asked them to do PB stiching. I'll post pics when I get it.

I've had 6+ hour trips in both the Focus and my STI and the Sport seats in the Focus are much easier on the back and just enough snugness to give you lateral support but have a little room to move which the seats in the Subi are too snug.

We did have some unusual wear on the driver's seat so instead of waiting for it too wear and become a warranty issue we just covered 'em up. These are really decent seats for a $20k car.

I've got the black and blues in my ST2. Best looking seats I've ever owned. Too bad the comfort isn't commensurate with their looks! I'm 6' 2" and weigh 175lbs, so I'm not exactly the "incredible bulk". The Recaros are too bleeping tight from my hips to 2/3 of the way to my knees, The backs on the seats fit just fine. I've been told the thigh bolsters can be bent in or out (guess which way I'll be bending mine), if you take the seats out of the car and remove the covers/padding. I'm looking to find out if that's true; once the weather here warms up more.

The seats in the 2012 Focus SE/Sport, I traded in on the ST were more comfortable (due to the ST's overly tight thigh bolsters).
