to FF

The intake in the link looks very similar to the AEM. If you get it, just make sure you get a good filer such as the ITG filter. That will be what it will come down to, it's all about the filter(should you choose to go aftermarket). However, an SVT airbox, snorkel with a K&N filter has been proven to be better than an AEM intake.

i recommend, depending on what you want to spend, just making a short ram out of your stock intake tube. that will run you the cost of a good cone filter (AEM Dryflow will cost ya 45 on Amazon, but is a great filter, and it just bolts right onto your stock tube. however, you can lurk ebay for awhile, and see what pops up. i looked at the spyder intakes for awhile, but they have mixed reviews. i just got a Volant cold air intake and installed it tonight, originally over 300 with the air scoop, paid 125 on ebay, and it's NEW

well, actually, this one is for zetec, and used on my spi. the actual piece that the MAF mounts to is reused on this intake. and, the TB is in virtually the same spot. so yes, this intake does work for zetec, and spi. I had to modify ever so slightly to make it work, like get a 3 to 2.5 inch coupler, that is it. very few intakes exist for just SPI, and I know he has a zetec, so I offered suggestions for his zetec. and showed a pic of the intake i used, but on my spi.
same exact intake on zetec, minus the scoop that is for the exact same intake, and works on the zetec as well.

I got a good deal on a K&N short ram intake.. it was only 1 year old when i bought it on the forums a few weeks ago.. very impressed, very easy to install and noticed an improvement in torque and sound. Sounds more sporty and runs smoother. Definitely recommend it.
