It will be cheaper to send it flat. It will be marked as where to bend it. I'm going on cation for a week. Hopefully when I get back I will get a plasma cutter. First I have to fix my truck and that's around $2000

Whats your truck need? A DPF delete, tune & intake perhaps? Or do you need to reseal the bed plate & rear cover?

DPF delete with a full 4" exhaust, H&S tuner with a hot damn 300 tune, egr delete, coolant crossover pipe, and intake. Then it will be bullet proof.

This looks neat and the oil change cutouts would be super handy and some nice piece of mind would be nice as well since that felt "thing" doesn't inspire any confidence by me. I'd be down for one.

I do like the idea of the aluminum skid plate for durability, but the o.e. design had its reason and its purpose.
I took my factory unit off and cut some holes. Mine was made entirely of felt--and more felt. I didn't see any plastic core.

As for sounding deadening on the metal unit, buyers could spray some truck bed liner on the thing inside and out. Would make a very nice unit then.
