I have looked all over Google for this...
The storage pocket in the door panel of my '03 Focus is completely filthy. Yesterday, I tried to take off that pocket so that I could scrub it down but after taking off the two torx bits at the bottom, I realized that it was (probably) glued to the door panel. My question is, is it possible to take this off and clean it if I don't take the entire panel on? |

Reach in with the vacumm , or a wet rag. Armor all will loose that stuff off and you just have to wipe it.

What I usually do is get in there the best I can with a vacuum first. Then take an air compressor and blow the pocket out real good.
If there is still anything left in there, take a spray bottle mixed with soapy water and spray in there real good to loosen everything up. Then wipe it out with a rag and you should be good to go. |

I use disinfectant wipes for the whole interior, including the door pockets.

Buy some meguires interior cleaner at your local parts store or walmart spray on a micro fiber and wipe affected area. If its a nasty mess spray and let sit then repeat till its clean.

Thanks to everyone! I successfully cleaned it out.
Don't think I'm an idiot- I just wanted to know if I could take off the pocket to clean it |
