quick question
has anyone removed the front logo from there grill? i want to buy a black grill but with the logo it is 50 more and the logo piece is only 12$


i looked at the diagram from tousley ford and it looks like only a nut but not sure

i have the chrome grilled on a black car... i did the black chrome paint kit from autozone and it chipped so quick... been rocking platidipped for over a year now... would like to clean up the look and have the black in the front be more of a clean look

the logo is held on with two bolts... very easy to remove

Did you try painting it with real paint? lol

Like actually sanding it, using adhesion promoter, few layers of paint, clear, sand and polish?

Or did you just paint that "black chrome" stuff directly onto the stock chrome.

sanded it... primed it, painted, cleared

Weird, when I got my grille from Ford it just came with the emblem... there wasn't two choices...

you can order it with the emblem but its cost alot more... can grab black one with out emblem for 71 and with is around 130
