Clunking
So.. my svtf has quite a few clunks, one of which has become more prominent. When I pull out the clutch out in a gear there is a clunk in the back of the motor. It almost feels like its under my feet, which makes me think trans mount. Any ideas?

Hmm. It could be the motor mounts, clutch, or the tranny mounts. When my upper motor mount went bad on me, it felt like I kept running over bumps, kinda like a very narrow speed bump, and it was also clunking. I'd check out the clutch, and all the mounts.

If you also feel it clunk as you roll onto more power or back off throttle under certain conditions then go for the transmission rear lower mount, it stops the engine/trans from rotating, when loose it clunks. Easy enough to remove and look at the rubber.......
