I had a set of 16x7.5/16x9 Borbet Type As in my posession up until a few days ago, they are awesome wheels and they are definitely not heavy wheels. TireRack wheels are heavy and poorly made (with a select few exceptions), Borbet and Work are very high end wheels. You won't be disappointed with them, and they will look great.

What width and offset are you thinking of getting? 17s or 18s? 8 inch wide wheels with an offset of 38 to 42mm fits great!

I was thinking about 17x8.5 with an ET close to 32 if I could find one, or a 42 with a 10mm spacer. It should fit because the front is already rolled out and I will be sticking with the same 215's, stretched. 8's with your Offset would be good too. I'd be happy rocking those but I'm thinking I'll just jump on the first decent priced used set. Tough to find in the 4 lug bolt pattern though.

17x8.5 ET32 will give you about 1/2 inch of poke in the front, which looks great. You probably won't want to go with a 215 tire....but a 205/45 will look good and give you a nice thick sidewall.

The CCWagon has 17x8.5 ET32 with 215/45-17 tires in the front, and 17x9.5 ET38 with 215/45-17 tires in the rear:






The PERFECT offset for an 8.5" wheel in the front is ET36. That gives you the identical inner clearance of a Focus RS wheel, which puts the wheel as close to the front strut as you want to be.
