I make an extra 200whp easily with my turbo..... but yet you cant run a 200shot without major damage to internals.

Plus I dont have to worry about mine running out or being refilled.

yeah spi is not a fast engine if you want speed go for a duratec swap which is very rare from spi to duratec only two people have attempted and dunn it successfully (my build) has dunn it
i myself want to mod my car towards cleanliness and show and the spi is perfect for that you can color code your radiator hose color code every wire and hose on the spi and it looks pretty damn classy /what i was doing see i own a maroon fofo i wanted to add color to my car i was thinking of yellow for the engine bay i meen decked out clean then do a paint job on the exterior body im so obsessed with green but i dont own the green fofo, but that another thread"shum green"
if you got an spi and you want put your name on focus fanatics
and you cant afford a duratec go for looks"show"

I would say start working on turbocharging your SPI. Big exhaust, modify a mustang throttle body and install it, upgrade your coil pack and wires. Check out this LINK to see how.

When you said standard transmission, you meant the manual, right?
Actually.... the stock coil is good for up to something in the neighborhood of 400 hp..... MSD is a great coil, but it's not really going to help you. Same with the wires.
