In official BMW page it says - 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 4.7 seconds
and in motortrend when they tests Cadillac CTS-V vs M5 the M5 0-60 time was 4.1 seconds...

Where can I find 100% official info.
Everybody says something but what's true?

Well first off the power being put out by the engines is rated at a certain amount...but thats the average. Idk about the duratecs but on the zetecs people who dynod stock cars came up with different numbers, so like a zetec with a manual trans could put down anywhere between 105-110hp. Ford doesn't have top speed and 0-60 time stuff. Also no idea what the 0-62 is b/c they don't test that here in the states, we have 0-60, 0-62 seems to be a euro thing. Also, you really can't go by the numbers on manufacturer websits b/c they will always underrated them for insurance and other legal purposes. The website times are rough estimates, unless they say 155 speed governed like most euro cars like, bmws do. Motortrend and what other car mags test are the real numbers.

But pretty much a current Focus with a manual trans will go 0-60 in around 8.5 seconds and top speed is around 110 b/c its governed as such.

So the real answer to your question is....not fast enough lol.

My mistake. I was using the 2009 model year brochure as a reference.

Must've been a typo!
